This Tutorial comes about from me playing with ideas...
You will need..
PSP
Graphic of choice
106 Fibs Mask

(Save this mask to a folder on your Desk top…)
No Outside filters are used …
J
Here we go….
1. File > Open > “106 Fibs Mask By Shereen” and
minimize
on workspace for later.
2. File > Open > Graphic of choice.
3. Edit > Copy > > Close the original.
4. Edit > Paste > Paste New Image.
5. Image > Resize > No wider than 400 pixels.
If image is smaller then leave as it is > Resample
using >
Bi-cubic. Maintain Original Print size > Un-Checked.
Lock Aspect Ratio > Checked.
Resize all layers > Checked.
6. Layers > Promote Background layer,
7. Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tile > Settings to
Default:
…(click the Black Arrow to reset settings to
default.
)
Settings are
Corner and bidirectional Checked
Horizontal and Vertical 0
Transition 50
Corner style Linear > checked
8. Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image > Settings are
Drop down menu > Select “106
Fibs Mask By Shereen”
Source luminance > Checked
Invert > Checked.
9. Layers > Merge > Merge Group.
10. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow > Settings.
Vertical
> 0
Horizontal > 4
Opacity > 50%
Blur > 5.00
Shadow on New layer > Un-Checked.
Colour of Choice (I stayed with Black)
Tip! I applied
this step again for a sharper look)
11. Image > Canvas size > Settings >
Width > 1280
Height > of your image
Lock aspect ratio > Un-Checked.
Placement > Middle left.
12. Layers > New Raster Layer. > Opacity set to 75%
13. Selections > Select All.
14. Edit > Paste > Paste
INTO Selections.
15. Selections > Select none.
16. Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur > Settings.
Angle 0.00
Strength 100
17. Effects > Distortion Effects > Spiky Halo > Settings
Horizontal > -68.00 (minus)
Vertical > -75 ( Minus)
Amplitude > 59
Frequency > 40
Radius > 10
Wrap > Checked
18. Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tile > Settings
as.
Default same settings as before
19. Layers > Arrange > Send to bottom.
20. Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.
21. Add your watermark
22. File > Export > Jpeg 0ptimiser > set at 25% > Name
and Save
You’re done..
Assemble in Incredimail
Letter Creator,
1. Body Tab, > Image >Tile
Image position > Left > Top.
2. Margins > Left > Move to clear the image you have now
on the left.
3. Footer Tab . Add credit
